Get a pile of hanging file folders. We like the recycled kind that many office stores offer.
Label each folder with one of the categories from the deductions of the schedule C PART II EXPENSES.

So for example you would have a folder named ADVERTISING and one named CAR and TRUCK and one named COMMISSIONS and FEES and so on.
Then every receipt that you get you can file in the correct folder/category.
There are also close-able plastic boxes that the file folders hang in if you do not have a file cabinet.
The hanging folders work really well as they slide to where you can see inside them without taking them out or having to tweak with them much.
If you get more savvy you can add more folders (each labeled with the correct category from the schedule A or B or whatever you need…
When you put each receipt away you are reminded of tax deductions and to spend wisely on things you can deduct. When the year is over the receipts are all organized.
