Going Green? Add A Programmable Thermostat!

Vitalbodies, in an effort to go a deeper shade of green decided to add a programmable thermostat.

According to EnergyStar:

Did you know that properly using a programmable thermostat in your home is one of the easiest ways you can save energy, money, and help fight global warming? An ENERGY STAR qualified programmable thermostat helps make it easy for you to save by offering four pre-programmed settings to regulate your home’s temperature in both summer and winter — when you are asleep or away.

The average household spends more than $2,000 a year on energy bills — nearly half of which goes to heating and cooling. Homeowners can save about $180 a year by properly setting their programmable thermostats and maintaining those settings.

In the spirit of going green, we decided to find a used thermostat and found a Hunter 44250A for only $3.00!

Next we set out to find a manual which was not that easy as most of the links to the manuals we could find were broken or out of date. So to make finding the manual easier we uploaded one for you to download.

This owners manual is for the 44200 and the 44250.
